G&G MP5A4 (post new barrel) + some random update?

Its been a while since I wrote anything, so forgive me for taking so long and then spamming up my own blog with posts (even though its only 2 new posts).

Internals-
New 6.03 MadBull TBB(Tight Bore Barrel) and MadBull fishbone rubber bucking with an Echo 1 H spacer installed in the gun really kicked the range up by about 30 feet or so and seems to have given it a slight boost in FPS though I couldn't tell you for sure, seeing as I don't own a chrono.

Dont really have much to say about this one, this should about cover it...


But as for the update, I will be hopefully picking up a new gun sometime soon, maybe between christmas and summer of next year, though it will most likely be a KWA GBB SMG, hopefully an M11A1 or a KMP9.

Cold Steel Training Knife -- KA-BAR style

First Impressions-
The knife looks like a flat black plastic material, but its actually a material called Santoprene. Santoprene is a mixture of rubber and polypropylene, it is a very stiff material, though not as hard as plastic, but not quite as flexible as rubber, it has very little give and can only be bent sideways on the blade (although it can be twisted very little, it is practically irrelevant).

Final Verdict-
For a price point of 10-15$ and a variety of shapes and sizes, it seems worth it to buy one of these for airsoft, though it may never get used, it still gives your load out a little something not very many players have (or at least thats what I think). On the contrary however, it is pretty stiff and could be potentially dangerous if used incorrectly, and on top of that, it does not include a sheath, potentially making it a bit of a challenge attaching to gear or what have you.

KWA M9 PTP

First Impressions-
The KWA M9 Profesional Training Pistol, otherwise known as the M9 PTP, or simply, the M9, is a rugged and tough pistol that weighs almost spot on with the real steel varient. The gun is full metal, with the exception of one small plastic piece that flew off the first time I used it. On top of this, the right safety lever also had problems, as the screw holding it on fell off, not a huge problem since I am right handed and the one on the left side works great. (I bought this gun off of a friend who had used it very "lightly")

Internals-
The stock internals are great, with the ns2 gas system, the pistol averages 1+1/2 mags per fill (between 30-35 shots, considering the mag holds 23 rounds). The stock barrel is great, the accuracy you get out of the box is fantastic. the internals are pretty solid and field stripping is a breeze. One problem I have had issues with internally is the de-cocker, not exactly sure why, but otherwise I am personally not worried about it.

Final Verdict-
The final verdict is that this gun is worth every penny, the quality is top notch (minus a few little things here and there, none affecting performance) At a price point of around $160 and mags ranging between $35-45 the price point on this gun is a little steep, considering the KWA ATP costs around $130. Overall im very pleased with this gun and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a high quality M9.
